With the completion of qualifying, the seeds have been announced for the 2014 USTA National Boys 16s and 18s Championships at Kalamazoo. Draws will be up later today.

10 of the top 11 seeds needed a WC or had to play qualies. That new selection process seems to be working seamlessly!!

I believe Mateas broke his arm during/following the Rochester futures. Very unfortunate as he was playing some good tennis.

I don't think he broke his arm, or if he did, it healed quickly, because he has results from a July 14th ITF junior tournament in Linz, Austria.
